DIY Coffee Body & Facial Scrub

Early mornings usually call for coffee. Most people tend to disregard the coffee grounds either in the trash or if they are environmentally friendly, they will compost them. However, there is another incredible use for them in your morning routine. The coffee grounds make as an efficient base for a body and facial scrub. The scrub helps eliminate dead or flaky skin without any harsh chemicals and the coffee component helps revitalize your skin. The scrub will leave a fresh feeling on your skin and pairs nicely with a moisturizer after.

Here’s how to make your very own DIY coffee body and facial scrub:

  • Coffee Grounds
  • Oil (Olive, Jojoba, Coconut, Etc…)
  • Honey

How to Make:

In a bowl, begin by putting two tablespoons of oil. The oil itself can be olive, jojoba, coconut, or another earthy oil similar.

Next, you should add in your coffee grounds. Slowly add in a half a cup of the coffee grounds and mix well.

Finally, you should be left with a rough paste that you can now use as a scrub.

Other Notes:

The benefit of this scrub compared to other DIY scrubs, is that this one can be stored really easily in your bathroom cupboard, counter, room, etc… and can be used until it is gone. This also means you can make large quantities and it can be easily gifted as well.
